I recently got back into the photography scene after a long hiatus. I took classes when I was in Junior High and thoroughly enjoyed it. After High School I was given a Canon Film SLR and enjoyed shooting nature, buildings, cars, people… just about everything! During a move to England, the packers broke the camera! I never got another one and really missed taking pictures. All my cameras, since the digital age, have been point-and-shoot up until a few weeks ago. While looking to get in the dSLR market I researched the web to find a good starter and low-budget dSLR. I found it… the Nikon D40. So, lately, I have been trying to familiarize myself with the D40 and the 18-55mm lens that came with it.
